This is probably the only comment that notices this is a joke and won't even touch scaling and numbers. So here's an upvote for you dear sir.

Have you sheep even played her? lol. Shes the clunkiest ADC out there now, because you sheep couldnt bother to learn how to play against her or see the larger picture to nerf what needed to be nerfed.

Yes because a champion with a free dash on auto attacks, a max %health magic damage nuke just for having a support auto, an infinite scaling flat damage nuke that scales with amount auto'd with no cap, and a get out of jail free card for the support on a 90 - 60 second cooldown without CDR, that can be used as a fucking two second knockup is perfectly healthy and is completely balancable in its current state.

I bet you play Lee Sin too.

There is actually a cap due to how computers hold numbers but it is doubtful to reach it in normal scenarios.

Remlap12238 votes

Boards, just because he makes a valid point about a hated champion doesn't give you reason to downvote him. Yes, there is a hard cap of 256. You're not going to land 256 spears on even the burliest of hypertanks, and not even Baron Nashor. Everything that he said was valid.

Delioth3 votes

Awkwardly enough, it's 254 stacks. (Adding up to 2550-8156 + 5120%-7650% AD Damage... that's a dead anything.)

Remlap12231 votes

Yep, checked it on lolwiki. I was close.

kalista is one of the more ballanced champs in the game though

3TWarrior1 votes

sort of, but either by scripts or player skill, she can dodge any obvious skill shot so long as there is something to hit, she's yet another ADC with crowd control (and tank repositioning, something quite useful for the slow bruisers), a passive that knocks %hp off in large amounts if both she and her soulbound attack the same target

etc

I rarely see her, but when I do, she is either a pain or a delicious meal

There is a reason shes banned almost 70% of the time in the LCS, even the pros think shes op.

Narasimha2 votes

You know, I've never figured out the whole "pros MUST know better" thing.

After all, they continued to pick Lucian, didn't they?

Remlap12232 votes

I mean, if you know how to play Lucian right, it shouldn't matter that he's weak numerically.

If you are a more skilled player with an underpowered champion than your opponent is with an overpowered one, you will win. Sure, you might have to put an unecessary amount of effort to deal with an overtuned champion, but despite the fact that Vayne is cheese right now, I still ROFLstomp everyone except Vayne mains when I play MF against her.

TheShinx1 votes

Now I can't confirm or deny this mans logic, but as a Vayne player I can say I have yet to face an MF as her. Caitlyn's are more popular into vayne then I think any other champion. Caitlyn =/= Counter to Vayne. Vayne can and will shit on Caitlyns post 6. You can Stop her ult, pin to wall and freely auto her to death with W.

Dengeden1 votes

Any Caitlyn who ults you while in condemn range needs to refund her ASAP.

OyddAWqJ5r3 votes

I see it all too often and it pains me everytime. Caitlyns think that their ultimate is an execute. No, it is a snipe. If you can still auto them, frikkin auto them. Save the snipe for sniping.

TenSlashTen2 votes

actually the R should be used before a fight begins not after. the fact a cait saves her ult before fighting is dumb.

its made to get them low so you can clean up if someone blocks it then its not that important and you try again later. Caitlyns about killing turrets the only thing on her kit ment to kill a champ is her ult and thats it. the rest is wave clear and shoving turrets while zoning.

OyddAWqJ5r2 votes

Miss Fortune tends to do alot better vs Vaynes since unlike Caitlyn she can actually put up a decent fight with Vayne once an all-out brawl breaks out. And all without losing the same hard poke style laning phase that Caitlyn has (Double-Up has some serious range and damage).

Ofcourse noone beats Vayne in a 1v1, but in terms of laning phase CS and poking MF is definitely the biggest threat to a Vayne.

A Miss Fortune1 votes

Miss Fortune will destroy Vayne early game and Miss Fortune's teamfighting/mid game is worlds better than Vayne's. Miss Fortune has almost no actual ADC counters until she hits her late game fall off though. However when Vayne does hit her late game, she can easily 1v1 a Miss Fortune.

TenSlashTen1 votes

what are you talking about? cait shits on MF so hard its disgustingly. Lol.

Auto EQ you're out 1/4 of your bar or more. And thats just cait doing cait things.

Now add a support with any real cc and mf is free kills under turret or not. Lol Caits literally the champ designed to completely shit into mf's mouth.

A Miss Fortune1 votes

However,

Miss Fortune has significantly more damage than Caitlyn since Caitlyn has no auto attack steroids aside from her passive, which is quite easy to avoid since it shows you the stacks and it VERY clearly shows when she has it up.

Miss Fortune unlike Caitlyn can all-in very easily. If Caitlyn even attempted to all-in someone without poking them down, she most likely would just die without much damage even thrown out at them. Miss Fortune however has her Q being an auto attack reset that also in itself does damage, her W passive basically giving her more AD and also the active giving her more AS.

The difference between Caitlyn and Miss Fortune is pretty significant from a lot of points. The only thing Caitlyn actually has over Miss Fortune until late game is range and safety, though 3/4 of Miss Fortune's abilities have the same range or outrange Caitlyn so It's nothing significant like in the case of Vayne. Caitlyn's safety also lets her farm more easily and she doesn't have to worry about being all-in'ed as much as most ADCs or being ganked.

In all honesty Miss Fortune counters Caitlyn. Miss Fortune just brings so much more damage to the table until late game on top of her also being able to poke Caitlyn down without worrying about taking damage in return. Not only does Miss Fortune have more damage, but her passive can easily dodge Caitlyn's already easily dodgeable skillshots.

TheShinx1 votes

I disagree with this. Vayne is one of the few Ad's who's Early/Mid/Late game are equal in terms of effectiveness. Early the W proc is enough to force lane trade towards your lane, Mid game Vayne can be a hassle as an assassin past level 11. The Stealth Condemn is strong enough that most won't be alone. Late game is Vayne's time to shine 100%. IF you make it past 30 minutes and have roughly 200 cs, There isn't much the enemy AD can do. Vayne will shread most tanks (Maybe not ones with invuln/Massive regen), Destroy squishy targets, pretty much do everything and live.

But all this is based off of if the person playing vayne is competent enough to know her strengths.

Anidan1 votes

As Caitlyn, your job is not to try to duel Vayne. Your job is to out-siege her, which she can very easily do. As Cait you're supposed to win the laning phase, and then siege the towers better than Vayne can siege yours.

Caitlyn isn't a counter because she can duel Vayne, she's a counter because she's going to do more for her team much more easily than Vayne can.

You'd be surprised how well Quinn does against vayne

Pro play doesnt play with her nerfs, chico.

My Waifu Vanilla1 votes

Last I checked lcs is on the patch RIGHT before current live one and Kallista didn't get hit in that patch. The only way to make kallista not a threat in pro play is to completely gut her AS to make her passive useless since even if she does less damage it's still more than you will ever do to her since you can't touch her at all.

that's something they talked about in /allchat because it was do people copy lcs. people need to learn that yes pros are a good thing to learn from but not to copy completely. I have played with multiple people that act like they are pro coaches and they scream in chat saying GO THERE COME HERE TAKE THAT BUY THIS. its just annoying
