And LoL's player count continues to go down.

But Riot is doing an amazing job, guys. We all sure do love the powercreep, easy baron shred at 20 mins, overly positive and negative biases towards certain champs / roles / classes which resulted in a lack of diversity and an endless cycle of buffing counters.

We all sure do love catch-up exp and ADC's hitting late-game at 2 items, and supports being able to give a shield for 8k points,

and of course, ultra increased ambient gold gen. to ensure it is impossible to solo carry a game in solo queue, making it extra hard to climb to where you belong to unless you're a pair of challenger smurfs.

It must be like a fetish to kill your own game. Does the balance team get sexually excited when they see the fruits of their "work" ?

League is going downhill fast, regardless of the performance of Fortnite. There is a difference between the League we have now, and say, season 4 League. current league is dog shit and worse than most other games. It is denial, addiction, and hope, that keeps the current players playing.

"Every single streamer"... Only one that have decent viewership that did it was Nightblue3 and in a week time he came back to League. If you look at top 20 Fortnite streamers atm none of them was League streamer... You have NEACE with 200 viewers on like 50th place or something.

I can't have fun with the game now, not even in ARAM, and winning doesn't provide any satisfaction. theres no reason to keep playing, I haven't touched the game in weeks.

actually, Hashinshin proved in a recent video the playerbase is not growing and if ANYTHING it is declining.

it doesn't take a smart person to see how this game went from good and fun to dog shit

A game has to saturate at some stage, and ofc at some point it may also decline (and may or may not rise later).

Much like the earlier sentiments, these are also not quite the same as "League is dead". "League is not doing as well as they did" is probably a more fitting statement.

Uh, he used Google Trends to "prove" that google searches for League are declining.

And he used Twitch viewer counts to "prove" the playerbase is declining.

For the former, it´s an easy explanation. People know which sites are League sites. People know the URL for the Boards, the League subreddit, making google searches on the matter obsolete.

For the latter, it only shows that people may not like watching League at times.

His video proves only that people know the League related sites and that they have other favorite games. His video does NOT prove that the playerbase is declining, nor does it prove League is dying.

There´s a reason why LS said to not listen to anything Hashinshin says. Hash is gonna pull anything out his ass to prove his point.

Your hypocrisy is astounding. This wasn't a discussion in the first place you're just shouting your opinion from the rooftops and attacking anyone who pokes their head in to tell you that you're wrong.

People have provided you with reasons and evidence that disprove your claims, but rather than engage in debate with them you chose to make persona attacks (call them fanboys) and beg the question ('league is dying because league is dying, why don't you guys get it?'). You're propping your argument up solely with logical fallacies and with the weight of your own ego.

Somewhat hyperbole. We actually have no idea what the player count is. It could be higher or lower than it has been. Otherwise people wouldn't try and use Twitch streams as their measure for what game is dying and what game isn't. Which isn't a good way to measure anyway.

I've never seen a team that didn't have all of their carries fed have an "easy" baron at 20. I've seen people take it at 20, sure, probably half the time though at least one person on their team is executed or my team swoops in and teamfights for an easy ace.

Even 2k is still an exaggeration. Maybe Janna could give a 2k shield if built specifically for that and used item 3190 . On average she's shielding for 800 or or so.

All I'm saying is that it gives your argument much more credence when you use actual facts instead of opinions and exaggerated examples.

Season 8 in league of legends is a success. It doesn't matter if u think it's worser than past seasons. First off all u didn't even told us a single reason of why this "season" is worser than the previous seasons. I have started to Play League since Season 4. And if i think about every Season till now. The one season i would recall being the Worst, was probably season 6. If u wanna ask me whcih season did i had the Most fun in League. I probably would say "season 4" But that's because i was a new Player. I have never Played a Game like League of legends before and i started to extremely love this kind of "gametype". But if you ask me which season i would call is actually being the best season of all, in terms of fixing bugs/balance/gameplay. Then i would say season 8. Pretty much every change this Season was a change into the right direction.

-the "20"minute baron has been upgradet. It's much harder to kill now, and takes alot more risks to do so. -Bounty gold got changed to increase Solo carry Potential. -new Champs, are not even close as broken anymore on release, like they were in past seasons. Hurl durl (kassawin 90%Wr first day 99% Banrate) -Alot of classes finally recheived buffs and changes that they really needet (bruisers, Mages) -Drakes becoming a super nice objective to take (all drakes usefull, not simply tower gold anymore) -Runes, (you can use so much different runes now, before it was simply 1path and that's it, it was the best optimal way and gave you the Most advantage, while today you can use alot of different runes and keystones for your champion, and still get as much if not even sometimes more out, in certain matchups due to changing your Playstyle around for it. Once again = more fun.

Pretty much all of the Points i have listet, were points that people have complained alot about, in past seasons from season 2-7. Those Points were never fixed till now and that everything in one Season.

Maybe the only one downside is that riot has ignored for a very long time, that adcs were simply to powerful, but even that is getting fixed now. So once again i ask you. What is so bad in season 8 that wasn't as bad or even worser in previous seasons? [slayer-jinx-catface]

Also you can Solo carry very easely as long as You are better. Till now i had actual no problem to Solo carry myself out of any elo until i really get close to my "real Elo D2 if u wanna know".

And i'm just gonna put my 5cents out here. If u can't carry at least 1 out of 5games, and u think it's your teammates fault. then that just means that u can't make any difference anymore towards ur future games. Which also means you either Improve as a Player or you stay in that Elo forever. And no it has nothing to do with the games state. it's simply your own Skill that doesn't allow you to get Higher. It actually means you are in the correct Elo. NO matter how you try to shift it. You won't get more often loosing teams than winning teams, and if u can't turn some looses into Wins, you won't climb. And i say it again, that is your fault not the games fault. Cya
