Small Pantheon's tweak (maybe visual ?)
Hello and good day. I'm sorry if this is the wrong medium to mention this, but at first glance it seemed the place to do so. Recently with Panth's baker skin I've decided to play him more often, but I kid you not every game I have 1-3 ults ruined due to over aggressiveness from my laners and I believe this is not necessarily a skill based thing (such as people reacting too early to a jungle gank for their own lane, giving away the intention of doing so).
When asking most people about why they go in as early as they do, forcing the laners out of the circle, they mostly mention they thought that when the circle appears, it is the equivalent to the second portion of the ult (the 1.5 channel before falling) that is the element they most usually interact with when facing a Panth. I think that this is due to the current behaviour not being clear enough to transmit the state of channeling of a friendly Panth. I know that the circle was drawn in order to communicate with your team your positioning after the full channel, but that was a common understanding only due to the relevance of the change placed on "x" patch because Panth was still played decently often, and now that he has fallen out of grace nobody seems to understand what Panth does anymore.
What I propose is giving a visual indicator more aligned with things that we can see in other champs like tahm where the visuals for channel and arriving are very distinct between each other even if he is an ally. Or maybe even something along the lines of keeping the current visual elements, but adding a new animation, which could be a Panth helmet symbol growing bigger as it channels, and only when this symbol grows to completely cover the circle does the ult visuals appear for the enemy. Maybe doing it this way people can relate more to waiting until the symbol is completely grown to fit what they visually see when facing a Panth.
Of course this changes wouldn't be as relevant for highly competitive play, but Panth doesn't really seem to fit that demographic unless there is something really unbalanced item wise to make him come back to relevance again, and other champs as Graves, Kha or Kindred would most likely still be better options than him.
Still I want to hear what else we can do for Panth (or any other champs that pop up to mind); we already have seen changes into play for Rengar's special visual effect, and riot has made the game so much clearer to understand that I believe it is a good time to discuss previous champs.
