Why isn't there a report option for bots or hackers?

Usually, any game that has a reporting function will have this option. These things do happen, there are videos of both out there. I personally haven't seen someone hack, but I have encountered a bot before. I still reported him as intentionally feeding but I had to type that he was an actual bot.

The game doesn't have a perfect anti-cheat in it, so why cant you report people for cheating and such?

Because 9 times out of 10 (that's a generous estimate), it's just a really good player and the person reporting just lost horribly to them and doesn't understand how.

You can write something about it in the description, and/or submit a support ticket against them especially if you have proof.

Riot has, however, admitted that the report options are a bit limited at the moment, and are probably going to give you exactly what you want sooner or later. I'd guess it's part of their Tribunal rework project.

This. Riot doesn't want to deal with so many false-positives.

I can understand that, but people get reported for intentionally feeding because they have a lot of deaths. Not all bots are those ones that play SUPER good, the bot I encountered did the opposite. It only walked around, didn't fight or try to play the game. The enemy team that had the bot said it did something that makes it identify as a bot but I cannot remember.

The bots, I left that part out. For bots, sometimes it can be just a really bad player or even a troll, sometimes on a chat restriction or speaks a different language or simply mutes everyone and doesn't speak. The line there isn't very fine, but it can be blurry sometimes.

I'd say the false positives between those aren't nearly as numerous as the hacking accusations, so I can agree that they are pretty easy to spot. I just write "this guy is a bot, and here is why" in the report. For now.

Bots are easy to spot. Just play Dominion at ~4am EST. They'll have Ghost + Heal as summ spells.

Those people who are no different from bots should be treated as bots.

Are you really still reporting people? Shame on you for falling for a report button to begin with.

Because Riot doesn't want this to turn into something like APB:Reloaded, where if anyone loses ever, they will report the person who did the best for cheating or hacking or some such.

Person above me pretty much summed it up there, because some people lose, and don't understand HOW they lost, so they just say "they must be cheating, because I am obviously bronze Faker", and then go report.

Also just a side note, don't false report then slap something else under it, because this could potentially cause issues + make your reports less helpful in the future.

By false reporting I mean, saying someone is feeding, but you mean they are botting. In this case you should have sent in a support ticket to report botting.

I came across a Sivir mid who was able to block 100% of Vladimir Q's -- the guy must have been on top of Riot's servers, or had some kind of script.

Wat? It's pretty obvious Vladimir is going to Q you when he walks towards you.

same thing as to why there isnt a report option for trolling. "intentionally feeding" doesnt prove shit because you wont get banned for that ever unless u have 50 deaths. the troll option should be input

I went into an ARAM and the entire enemy team had the same summs, and they all walked in as a clump at the exact same time, just spamming whatever. It was obvious bot behaviour, and their names were all of the same format. I went to report them for being bots, and I was flabbergasted. I reported them for intentionally feeding instead, specifying how they were bots in the description. While I can understand why they wouldn't want to add an option considering false positives, I still think they should have the option.

One big thing riot has said as to why they won't add this is because they don't want to bring attention to it. There are still many players that don't even know you CAN cheat in this game, and telling them you can might have some of the more dishonest ones go do it.

Bots are actually very very common at lvl 1-30 as well as 3v3s and dominion for those that didn't know. leveling and farming IP to sell accounts.

We desperatley need one for bots. Theyre getting really rediculous in game modes such as 3s and dom.
