Riot, I can understand your position. "We already had people do the art and models". But that shouldn't stop you. There isn't a huge rush about it. It is better to have it done right than locking in something people don't like.

Fiora's in-game models and artworks are not in need of a VU. All she would need is to have her textures changed a little bit on her skins. That is literally all you have to do.

Everybody is talking about it Riot. Please don't let me down and blow it. People have been complaining about a lot of things you guys have done with the game recently. I think it is in your best interest to listen to them.

Do the right thing. Just give her a texture update. Do not edit her model and splash arts.

To me, this looks like a literal downgrade.

EDIT: Despite all of the negative feedback over her appearance, she didn't get changed. Shocking.

I actually really like the new outfit, but the face is really ugly in both the models and splash art.

It's not even like a ton of new animations were actually warranted by this new kit. Obviously improving animations and making characters move more dynamically is desirable and in this area her kit never really allowed her to excel. There was room for Riot to do cool stuff with Fiora.

But instead they just went off the reservation.

The issue is that Riot doesn't aim for a good middle ground, they need to reveal these ideas early enough to get feed back before investing in them to heavily, but late enough that barring major negativity they are sure it will be the final product,

I really prefer the old hairstyle to the new one.. this VU doesn't have any "Fiora" in it.

I'm not a huge fan of the outfit or new hair myself, but the face is the real issue for me.

Yeah actually she looks great. I understand some of you have really strong feelings about her, but the new models are tuned for the updated aesthetic of the game, for summoners rift, and to be in line with the rest of the champions. I think it looks great, and many people agree. I'm voting for the changes to stay just as they are.

UPGRADE HER TEXTURES ONLY, yes, leave the splash arts and models as they are otherwise. The new ones are not an upgrade!

What it sounds like you're saying is not listen to the community, it's "listen to me and to those that agree with me". I think the new Fiora is great, there are a few kinks they could fix but over-all, it's great.
