Can We Appreciate Swain?

Everyones been shitting on the new swain, mainly on his looks, and how he looks like a Walmart version of Malfoy. But honestly, his voice lines are amazing, and whilst his ability colour scheme isn't the most original, they're some pretty decent ones, with the potential to be game changing.

Just listen to his voice lines and his interactions with others, it gives a greater insight into the lore. I've been haiting on Riot for awhile now, but this- This they done marvelously.

I actually love new Swain. I think he's a lot more Noxian than old Swain was- this version is obviously meant to come across as considerably more powerful and intimidating.

Yeah he looks sounds and is cool. But thats not Swain. Swain was the lovable old man with a cane a bird and triple mohawk. Now it just doesnt feel the same. New swain makes me not want to play him anymore. Its just swain to me. #SaveTheCane

And the new Urgot isn't Urgot. Urgot was a fat guy with legs that shook his arms for an eternity before going deep into the enemy team see the point I'm making here?

You're right in calling attention to the better parts of this rework. And you're right, the voice lines are marvelous, and I appreciate Riot for it. But while I do appreciate the good they've done, I am still disappointed in the new Blood Lord Vladamir model.

My favorite at this point in time is "An assassin is due any moment now. It lets me know Leblanc cares."

These lines almost make Swain appear sympathetic as opposed to pure evil as there is an absence of judging tones in his words.

In any case, this is not Swain. Swain was subtly charming, had this gravel to his voice that always made it sound like he had just finished a meal, which was fitting given that the name of his passive was Carrion Renewal and his ult was RAVENOUS flock. Furthermore, Swain is supposed to be a man you can't exactly read since he is exceptionally skilled at hiding his feelings, this version appears ever-so-slightly sympathetic, or at least a bit too understanding of the people whose souls he collects.
