PSA: Farm under tower does not work

Often, when you lose lane, you get told to "farm under tower" or "stay under tower" which is some solid advice, apart from it having a few flaws. Most of which being able to be changed by Riot, only one being mechanic based.

Tower is not a safe zone Tower has never been a safe zone Aside from the fact the enemy laner can freeze the lane half way in to prevent any XP, here's the reasons why it doesn't work.

Some champions have two dashes Some champions can dash into you, and then jump over a wall Some champions can wait for a minion wave to come before dashing across on a 0.1 second cool down Some champions have abilities longer than the actual tower range itself Towers do not slow Towers do not do enough damage Some champions have resets on long dashes Some champions have invisibility Some champions have invunerability Some champions have healing abilities Some champions have global ultimates Tower can barely kill one person, let alone able to kill two that push in

They need to Bring back the slowing lazer turrets those were a pain to dive and did more than a fair share of damage

You could send an 0/10 support(alone) and they would be able to stop any split pusher except maybe trynd.

Except for trynd and a nasus who knows how to play. You do not know how many times as Nasus I would split push and the team would stupidly send either 1 person to deal with me or they all try to 1v1 me, which ends up with me getting a triple kill or more. Which is stupid because they should have instead have everybody going in together, and have them chain CC me.

Your tower isn't meant to be a "safe zone", its just the safest spot for you to farm and not fall behind. Towers do enough damage. Just position yourself correctly under tower and you should be able to farm safely if you're ranged and not get poked.

second of all there is no meta champions with invisibility other than khazix

third of all you really wanna say sion can ult to dive you even though he will miss 100%

and i can disprove the entire thing but since you wanna pull a raffle for "40+ random champions i can think of so i can throw at him but still be wrong anyway" im not going to

Also not sure if you've ever seen full AP Sona, but shits busted

and useless in teamfights other than deleting people who dont know how to build MR against a telegraphed burst build

You don't use Bards E to go in, you use it to get out

except in botlane there is only one area you can use to get out from, and that area is gonna need him to WALK IN TOWER RANGE

Or neither dies because some ADC's such as Vayne has a CC, and so does Bard. And if they're not patricks pet rock, they know how to cycle I wouldn't say the busted healing that comes out of it is useless. Also AP Sona is a build for making sure your laner doesn't get ahead. Yes ap sona’s poke and heals are big, but if they enemy team are not idiots and build MR then your “op” AP sona is trash. And I have done ap sona a few times so I know the pros and cons of it. With this build you are usually squishier than your other teammates, and with how close you have to be in order to use your abilities it is very easy for the enemy to poke/ kill YOU.

The tower’s damage is a nightmare for a squishy champ like full ap supp sona. Believe me buddy I have accidentally walked into tower a few times and a tower would hit me for more than a quarter of my health in the early game.

And btw if your champ has a big ass CC, like morg’s ult, YOU CAN CC ANYBODY THAT TRIES TO TOWER DIVE YOU. ending up in, guess what, a failed dive and some dead enemy champs. And if you stay as close as you can to your tower, the enemy will have to go farther, by using either more gapclosers that he could use to escape, or by taking more time walking to you.

What the hell elo are you talking about? Sona is dead the second she is ccd under tower. AP sona is only viable if you are bellow like even Gold elos. Also if you are talking bot lane it is 2 of you countering the dive. Every time i get dove bot and i have thres/nami/janna/tahm/braum/ali/leona the dive ends with all enemies dead and the lane pushing towards me. If you are below plat its because of your skill and not the game being tricky. IF dives are so easy why dont you dive your enemy 24/7? Even pros in competitive botch dives with HP and numbers advantage. My guess is you have not played the champions you are facing thus you can't exploit their weaknesses. If prior to the dive you are already 0/3 it means the problem was before the dive ever happened, not the tower being weak.

Honestly though, you must've messed up pretty bad prior to farming under tower for them to be able to successfully dive you. No one starts off the game diving a 100 hp enemy. They harass you down, shove you into tower, before diving you.

So you can't really say the tower's weak unless the diver somehow 100-0'd you instantly and came out almost unscathed. You might as well just call the champions broken for harassing you low enough TO successfully dive you.

Well when you're getting stomped its one of the best options you have, Especially in our ELO (gold-plat). They cant freeze lane forever and people still make tons of mistakes when they try to tower dive.

You could always try to gank bot/ get their tower. Then swap lanes with them.

If you decide to stay top, after he takes your turret , that is your chance to catch up. It shouldn't be safe for the top laner to continue pushing your 2nd tier during lane phase, your jungler and mid should be able to react quicker then theirs and help control the lane/ kill him for you.

the minion the siege have 7 shot turret the melee 2 shot the minion mage I think it's a basic attack 1 shot turret and a basic but the mages are really difficult because if you do not do damage assault the tower will take it*[sg-lulu]*

Just make turret dmg an hp%. So that tanks can't tank it forever. Problem solved. Champions with mobility to dive, kill and escape is something we have to deal with. Use exhaust more. Hell, if you are just running around under turret without returning abilities of your own, then you deserve to die under turret.

Same goes for your champion. You can cc, dodge, go invis or just deal damage. Don't act like it is impossible to do anything under turret.

Towers need to be buffed. My strat (I'm in bronze it might not work in higher elos) is to constantly fire Q's under tower as Zoe using my ult. I get tower aggro but it don't matter I do too much with my Zoe q's
