Actually curious, did Nasus need those stacking buffs?

You are either forced to play a strong early laner to stop his stacking, or your jungler has to book a reservation top lane.

500 stacks late game just seems kind of unnecessary. If the champion is that bad, rework him?

I don't think he did, but all of the things people are complaining about are things he did prior to the +12 buff as well. Nasus getting 500 stacks lategame was not a rare occurrence. He still has the exact same weaknesses and problems he's always had.

The Q damage late game just seems bonkers. If you get hit with that excessive 5 second slow and your not a heavy champ you die in 1 Q + aa. its really cringy. But I guess the only thing you can do is play to stop his stacking, or hope to god that your carries do well.

I am just curious, out of all of the problems with the champion, why choose to increase his stacks so much? Essentially just buffing his damage.

He needed buffs.

He didn't need those buffs.

He used to have ~450 stacks, but be useless because he couldn't really use them. Now he has ~600, and is still useless because he can't use them.

It did basically nothing, but if compounded with a meaningful buff to his ability to deal with kiting, he'll be a problem.

Did nasus needs buffs yes he was shit but did he need those buffs no. He was bad before and is still bad after the buffs all the buffs did was make him have a better snowball and that only works if your vs someone who doesn't understand how to lane. Even if nasus gets fed every adc can just kite the shit out of him and some mid laners too so the buff still did not fix anything.

500 stacks late game is terrible and if Nasus only has that much he's probably not doing well. That said, I've seen Nasus with 1k stacks get absolutely wrecked while playing their best. So yeah, it was necessary. And he's not even in a bad spot enough to be reworked.

You might be right about 500 stacks not being good. But I disagree that he needs more damage. This is the same mentality on other juggernauts. If they feel weak, just throw in more damage. Seems silly idk

Well, what else would you do? What makes a Juggernaught/Fighter a Juggernaut/Fighter is the fact that they can take damage and dish it out too. Nasus has passive lifesteal, so increasing his damage would essentially increase what life he steals, therefor increasing his survivability.

You might be right, I just need to play a different champion into him. I need to play something that can punish him. Wukong cannot do that, and so Nasus seems to get out of hand really easy, and a lot sooner into the game then he used to.

Yeah, playing against Nasus is...a trifle--trial and error at best. You could play against him multiple times with a single champion and one strat would work well at times yet fail at others. They probably buffed his stacks because early on he's just overall losing moreso than winning.

When do you consider "late game" ive had nasus players end up with over 1k before 40 minutes.

Ofc that doesn't help considering games haven't been lasting as long, but that issue is getting alittle better.

He really didn't need the buffs and now he's hidden S tier. Imo this cancer binary as fuck champ should never be as strong as he is now, its not healthy for the state of top lane if nasus is strong.

Well, he certainly did need some buffs, but imo the stacking was the entierly wrong place to do so and just increased all his issues without really solveing any...

The buffs made his dueling more cancerous, but didn't fix any of his issues in teamfights. He still sucks ass in teamfights, unless the game gets to 30 minutes and he has 1000 stacks or something so that getting just 3-4 Qs in a fight means he did enough to win it for his team.

Just dumb overall.
