I like Lee Sin, but I feel bad for playing him

I hate playing against Lee and half the Lees I see just completely suck (myself included). I know if I keep practicing him I'll maybe probably not become a god at him, but it seems like 99% of Lee Sin's suck. Any tips to not be in that 99%?

A lot of players make the mistake of trying to mechanically improve with their champion as opposed to learned how to win a game of League of Legends. Really focus on learning the strength of champions at each phase of the game, strategies, compositions, and objective play.

As for how to get good with that champion, nothing but watching gameplay from the best, looking at credible IN-DEPTH guides and tips, and playing them over and over.

A lot of Lee Sin players have a hard time--or often neglect--transitioning from being a Ganker to being a competent teamfighter. Lee progressively gets weaker as the match drags on, and basically has to snowball off of kills and assists in order to delay the point which he scales off. You need to have a good pool of HP and Resistances by the time your powerspike has ended in order to survive long enough midgame/late game to position properly for a good Ult.

Lee Sin also has piss-poor clear speeds compared to other gank-centric champions, so watch the map carefully and stay involved with your team/counterjungle well--the revenue from clearing jungle camps alone doesn't get Lee Sin very far.
