Can I get some context?

I am always interested in why it is the balance team chooses to buff or nerf certain aspects of a champion rather than others.

I can see the reasons for buffing Zed, but can't see why you chose his ultimate's damage.

And on the PBE, why the slow on Rammus' Q?

Why Riven's health regen?

I think I can work out all the other reasons, but why these three? If anyone has any ideas then please let me know. To be clear, I understand why nerfs and buffs are warranted. I just want more details about the decision making behind them. Thanks.

My opinion of course.

  1. Zed is not suppose to be constant damage so buff his burst, aka ult, to give him the increase in damage he needs but only if he uses everything.

  2. She get bullied way to much. I personally still laugh when a riven is picked because I grab garen and just dump on her in lane. She can't sustain after a trade. Either she gets a kill or had to back.

  3. This is more for the few in lane rammus that are around. I guarantee the majority of players didn't even know the q slowed because they insta taunt anyways right after. But inlane it was powerful for ganks.

Riven and Rammus's buffs/nerfs were on the PBE. None of that is 100% confirmed to actually make it to live. People need to stop seeing it and complaining immediately when people have had less than a day to even play with those changes on the PBE to test them out.
