I mean I just got demoted because two fuckups decided to give up and afk because they were on the losing side. I reported them, but I know that won't be enough for anything to happen, because as we all know, Riot is a cashgrab company that doesn't give a rat's ass about the players, just their wallets.

So I'm done, I'm uninstalling right now, and I'm getting a timer ready to see how long it takes a mod to try to censor this free thinker by deleting his thread. Seriously, come and get me. I don't care!

Actually, punishing AFKs is one of the few things Riot does pretty good at.

Bronze is hard to carry sometimes and I definitely feel you on the toxic afkers. I'm stuck in silver 3 and just had a Trundle top who refused to group and a Hecarim who pretty much did nothing most of the match and then started to int and spam surrender votes. Honestly, at this point really all we can do is just improve our gameplay or in the worst case scenario, just play a champion even more busted than what you usually play.

Playing a meta champion only pushes your elo higher than it would have been on an off-meta champ. It doesn’t just keep increasing your elo, since you’ll eventually reach opponents who can exploit the skill gap despite the matchup. In other words, whatever champion you play, you can’t keep climbing if you don’t improve.
