Thoughts about the Varus nerf / changes.

Ya know what? This is actually nice. I was expecting far worse, but it's a justified nerf.

In short:

Cooldown increased from 16/14/12/10/8 to 20/18/16/14/12 Total AD ratio on Maximum Damage lowered from 165% to 150% **[New effect] **"Piercing Arrow's cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds (affected by Varus' cooldown reduction) if the arrow detonates Blight stacks from at least one enemy champion"

I've always been clear on the idea that Poke / Lethality Varus has always been bluntly a braindead, boring-ass build. It consisted of relying only on his Q, not really using the rest of his kit effectively except for his ultimate for utility purposes.

This, I like. While it is a soft nerf to all of his builds, it's also hard nerf to the lethality build. I'm happy and fine with that. If you want to go the poke / lethality route, you'll actually need to use the rest of his kit. This is good. This is healthy. It'll mean you can't sit back and spam Q all day, and as fun as it is for some, this is some decent counter-intuitive to that particular playstyle. You wanna do a tonne of damage and do it often? Better start risking going into auto attack range to get pops to stack. Use the rest of his kit for once.

I thought they would try something wacky like adjusting the hitbox or something. really
