The fact this won about 55 games out of 94 with this build is what makes it so amazing.
Meanwhile at worthless site people still use for some reason...
in 94 games Varus got tired of being blown up by [insert fed Assassin, Mage, Diver, Etc here] and bought a Zhonyas. This was effective enough to win the game 60% of the time

A friend of my friend's had a Varus on his team with this build yesterday...but that's low silver.

once i saw the highest win % build on champion.gg with 6 games played... another with 10. totally a big enough sample size to be relevant information right? lol

Guinsoos has the best 1 item-spike for Varus and has some good synergy with his next items. He still focusses mainly on building AD, so the AP components to his build are not likely to get counter-built by his opponents. If you're in a full AD team and build like this as Varus it's actually pretty good I'd say.
This looks like someone one tricking. That's not a very large sample size.

These Varus players are only in it to get their S faster(friends flock to them for easy chest acquisition). WIth all that lethality, they poke super hard but sick an invisible champion on them and they evaporate. Just because you do a lot of hero damage doesn't mean you'll get a win, but it does pretty much guarantee you get S grade.

Some person wants a bit of AP for him and Armor pen, but it is an AS On-Hit Build.
Not a bad build if the enemy is pretty beefy
Needs more AP to be actually relevant, IMO
