As soon as I saw that splash art, I thought, well damn. The artists have done it again. Most of their art is pretty amazing but once in a while, one comes around where the lighting, color, poise, expression and everything all comes together and it just makes you feel something.

Poppy and Nidalee's splash artists are amazing for example, the lighting on those are awesome.

Are you seriously suggesting Morgana, the queen of tits, is not pretty? Her classic is literally her in a bikini and all of her skins go on to add on top of that, whilst getting rid of her scary expression we only see in her classic.

Fiora's Pool Party skin is literally boobs and hips galore. Even her classic is traditionally pretty + Her new Nightraven and Royal Guard skin splashes make her a model.

Taliyah is cute by a lot of standards, it's funny when people try to bring her up. I've heard tonnes of people say how they love her Frejlord splash.

If anything bring up Rek'sai or Illaoi, but even then they are 2 of 50+ Female champions with 2 inch waists. Females HAVE to be pretty all the time, unless people whine about it and Riot creates 2 champions so they can say "Look we're good at design!"

Diversity of personality > Diversity of physical appearance.

You don't seem to care much about the backstory or personality of any of the female champions in the game. Its not really a good thing being so shallow as to only care about their physical appearance like that.

I don't want to take any potshots at you here, but you sound like you're defending a less than visually pleasing significant-other. They're unrealistic in the most unbelievably boring and mild way possible, they all just have a perfect hourglass figure with dem breasts and booty. I want them to be actually something that seems fantastical. More than half the female 'monster' champs shapeshift into or ARE just sexy ladys with same body shape, even freakin VI and Leona have the same barby doll figure. If you really can't see the issue with that and are only concerned with personality than, while you would be a pretty sweet bro in real life, you really have no sense of priorities. Visuals come first in these kind of games, they always will.

And to top it off, for years now almost 100% of the cast's personalities were generic archtypes. Ashe was the frost archer, Hecarim was spooky horse warman, Amumu was(still kind of is) mysterious lonely mummy, and Shyvania was half-human hybrid trying to fit in with humans. They're all one dimensional, and we're just now having some of them become more than that. Alot of your 'unique personality' lady champs still have their generic short bios and old generic dialogue, they're still walking cliches, and you could pretty much find them in all but name in other works. You're not going to find many fictional characters that resemble Bard, Kindred, Camille, Kled, Singed, Skarner etc. because they are all very unique and original in appearance and theme. You're probably not going to understand any of this, but I hope you do.

A lot of these cliche's didn't exist at the time of conception for the champions. League kind of made them popular, so I can see how they may be bland in that sense. But I haven't seen or heard of many of the things some champions were based off of, Ahri for example. I hadn't thought anything like that existed, so it was pretty cool to look up what a 9 tailed fox was and learn about the source of the inspiration. You may not get that same enjoyment from that kind of stuff and that's fine, but for me, I kind of like that.

Also, I don't get too upset about seeing cliches in gaming. They hold a certain charm to me. Frost archers however can fk off, that is the one cliche I hate to death. I don't necessarily see too many of the same body types to be honest, a lot of the league cast wears armor, Lux Leona Kayle for example. I can see where you are coming from when you say that a lot of them are over feminized i guess, but there are just as many over mascanulized champions too, Tryndamere and JarvanIV for example.

One thing I have to point out on this.

These women are not just any old lady picked up at a tavern in Bilgewater and thrown into Summoner's Rift, these are warriors. Warriors train, warriors work out, warriors practice, and because of this they will have characteristics that will be deemed attractive to males. Would you really believe that Fiora was a fencing master if she were as chubby as lets say Mei from OW?

This brings me to my second point. Not all female champions are tits and hips. Sure they may have pretty good sized tits, or thin waists, but their outfits don't slam those features in your face.

Camille Yeah she is new but it still counts. Diana All of her skins cover up her body very well. You can say that she looks pretty, but not degrading or derogatory Ahri Considering her voice lines AND her backstory, all of her skins provide adequate coverage, if you see someone walking down the street in these clothes you might think "what a weird outfit" but you wouldn't think "wow wtf is she wearing she's a slut". Fiora Besides her headmistress skin, all her skins are respectable. Illaoi Nuff said Kalista Wearing pretty basic armor for any fantasy game. Karma Also is very concealed. Kayle Armor and Helmet. Her major legendary skin is also conceals her body completely. Leona Her Valkyrie skin is the her most revealing one, and even that doesn't go too far. Lissandra She is an ancient woman made entirely of ice.... Lux her most revealing is star gaurdian I think Nami She is a fish.. Orianna Robot Quinn Also covered. Riven Covered.

And there are many more, I just don't want to go through the entire list.

My third point is this. Sometimes their outfit/appearence is important for champion design and expression of themselves or their kit.

Fiora wears tight clothing because she is a swift fighter, her outfit helps express that. Le Blanc operates on deception, it doesn't take much imagination to see that decpetion can take the form of seduction.

And as for my fourth point. What about all the fucking guys in this game that appeal to each and every aspect of female attraction?

Like dominant bad boys? Graves Darius Draven Like dark, mysterious men? TwistedFate Jhin Talon Yasuo Lucian Like six packs? LeeSin Yasuo Ryze Pantheon Like young, charismatic boys? Ezreal Ekko Like truly outrageous? Taric Want a man hung like a horse? Hecarim Tentacles are your thing? Velkoz Want to call your man "daddy"? Braum

If Diana is the moon champion, and the skin line is Blood Moon, then why does her skin feel so cheap? Jhin's looks like it should be an 1820 RP skin, Diana's barely feels like its worth the 1350. C'mon, Riot, this is your big chance to do something for both the Blood Moon line and for Diana. Give her some new lines or something, taunt Leona, taunt the others, talk with Akali, SOMETHING. People have been asking for Blood Moon Diana for years, and this is the best you can do?

I gotta agree with that actually. The model is a tad underwhelming. I feel as though Riot's art department has suffered a bit of tilt from that SKTT1 2nd edition skin fiasco. (I'm looking at** you**, TF - Reaper skin) Diana should have had a bigger role in this event than this imo. I was actually expecting a 1820 skin or an ulti, but I got my hopes a bit too high.

Wow Dianas splash! Possibly a new favorite splash, so gorgeous! I like that her mask is off, it gives her more character. She likes kind of emotionally tired, like she's a blood moon demon going about her job but doesn't find joy in it necessarily.

My interpretation of it is more that she seems stuck there, unwillingly serving a bastardization of the white moon she used to worship.

I appreciated that as well. I like that her face isn't angry, it's a nice change of pace from many splashes where the champ either looks enraged or bloodlust. I love to see the different side of the champion.

I'm really disappointed Talon doesn't have a hood and Twisted Fate somehow does? I feel like Talon and TF swapped because Talon is missing a hood. How something so distinctly Talon just slipped into the hands of Twisted Fate boggles me.
