How Anti-Board Threads Work

"Oh let's just assume the boards is one collective entity."

Not like people have different opinions.

Not like there are some ADC mains who hate this meta. Not like there are non-ADC mains who love this meta.

Not like some people prefer short, snowbally games while others like slow, strategic drawn-out games.

No, the boards is just one guy with multiple personality disorder

As a collective Hivemind i disagree, agree and be neutral on your Thread

ModWulf Helhammer6/21/2018, 5:52:43 PM28 votes

And the same goes true for every post that says anything along the lines of "riot everyone hates the game"

funny how the boards was full of mage and bruiser mains before the adc changes, and you could see hundred of threads saying that the changes are buffs getting upvoted

now, since 8.11 i've seen much more adc mains

The problem with the boards is that it's not about how many different voices there are because the loudest is all we really see and the loudest is usually whatever segment of the league community that feels they have been wronged be it junglers mid top support adc tanks fighters assassin's you name it.

Anonymity has a tendency to bring the worst in people out, and that includes the revelation that most are extremely self-centered, to the point that they barely consider others unless forced to.

It's sad that this has to be said, but well said all the same.

This meta sucks ass. Bring on Season 9.

Just to toss in my hat: I'm a non-adc main and I couldn't care less for this meta.

What's even funny is if someone has a different opinion, a valid point that's even true, yet not popular, gets called a bronze or silver and shouldn't even speak. Does elo even matter? From lowest to highest? Say your opinion, and support it as much as you can.

Hell, I don't always like a slow and long matches, but it's often necessary to have depending on the champion you play that relies very much on mid-late game. Like my main Velkoz Am i the only one with patience here?!? Everybody has something to complain about, but at least have a good reason so you won't appear like some greedy crybaby who wants everything for yourself. Also, is it true ADC mains complain the most and want everything for themselves? Most OP class and such???

You can't please everybody. There will always be someone crying for change.

To be fair the boards definitely have some sort of mental disorder and bipolar kinda fits the bill, also self-hatred and masochism.

MetalGearTeemo6/21/2018, 8:34:33 PM1 votes

I always like their examples, where they talk about how boards are rightly critizing things, then post the 3-4 things riot changed all at once, massively overnerfing the thing in question.

"its the boards fault."

i bet you think Skarner was our fault too, for rightly criticizing his strength and having riot overbuff him with untested numbers and throwing him live

Shaco then again, deceiving the weak minded is just that easy.

You have to admit its hilarious seeing threads with conflicting opinions upvoted next to each other Boards are the biggest meme in LoL

Sexy Jack Rabbit6/23/2018, 5:20:55 AM1 votes

Frankly it's not unfair considering the way these boards work. When one topic gets somewhat popular the front-page is almost NOTHING but the one topic.

Remember when Riot revealed they regretted making Kaisa sexy?

literally 85% percent of the front page was 'HURR DURR RIOTO IS SJW HURR DURR' Every other post not agreeing or relating got downvoted into obscurity.

Athenes Lulu6/23/2018, 8:14:17 AM1 votes

If that's really the case then anti-ADC/pro-mage threads won't be massively upvoted, even if it is no means reasonable.

Right now when ADCs complain about the current state of the game, I still don't see such threads massively upvoted as much as mage/bruiser threads do.
