Draft Pick: Last 3 Ban?

Why do the last three summoners get to choose who gets banned in solo queue, when the first three are the most vulnerable since they pick early? If I am first pick, I'm the blood in the water and I should have the power to choose which sharks I'd rather not have biting at me. Right?

The last 3 summoners are way more capable of counter picking and feeling more safe in their picks without the need for a ban. Can we PLEASE change it to the first three summoners instead of the last three?

And DON'T hit me with that "Your teammates can just ban for you." Not in solo queue. Bitches selfish ban all the time. No one acts as a team. So why not make it that much better and let the first three summoners pick. I'd give my left mouse button to have last pick every game than first pick without a say in the bans.

Interesting argument. I suppose Riot made it the last three because they need something to do, instead of being left out like they were in the prior system.

It is true, however, that you team "can" ban for you. And Riot isn't concerned with solo q.

I believe they were giving to the last three picks due to the previous champion select.

That way, the early picks would have the ability to secure their desired role and champions while the lower picks had control over the bans and counterpicking.

Considering we are assigned our roles, the point is rather moot now.
