Jayce. The Defender of tomorrow. And Runaans, the Hurricane As well as Hydra, the Ravenous one.
You would think that's dumb, because you shouldnt build Hydra on a ranged nor Runaans on a melee champion, but - Jayce is both!
So what do you think of a melee-range-hybrid Jayce with these two items? Would be cool if you could help me to find a way to build this Jayce.

Instead of getting two items that are only half useful depending on his form, why not get two items that are fully useful in each form? It seems like you're only putting yourself at a disadvantage because you are essentially down half an item constantly.
Hurricane sounds like a particularly poor buy on Jayce. He has relatively short attack range, and also isn't applying any on-hit effects.
Hydra may be somewhat more viable, but it does require you to put yourself in more danger than is strictly necessary.
Zeal and it's upgrades generally aren't good buys on Jayce since attack speed doesn't benefit his kit nearly as much as CDR. Also, his low range makes it less than optimal.
