Thank you for the Patch Rundown
Explains a bit. Though they need to talk with more confidence.

all that did was tell me that the people who test the changes are cardboard 5
LOL. I had the same thought.
Who is letting Veigar farm 500 AP by 20 minutes? They should have kicked his immobile squishy butt up and down by then.
And who is actually getting stunned by Event Horizon so he can land a combo?

Well no one is getting stunned by veigar's event horizon now. It's almost impossible to get 50 bonus ap at 20 minutes now
They're balancing philosophy is so subjective. Jarvan's defining feature is apparently his early level ganks? What about lee sin? What about shaco? The balancing team should seriously consider consulting with the actual designers and pinning down exactly what the designers were going for. That way both teams can learn from the patch. Part of what makes balancing a nightmare is how unbalanced the champions were initially designed! The designers can make smarter balanced designs (cough CertainlyT cough); the balanced teams can actually get an objective view on what they should do and not rely on he said she said who/what is OP at what time.
I bet what they're doing right now is just looking up reddit (no one looks on the boards for balance advice... let's be honest) ask a few pros and coaches and casters about what's strong and weak then move forward with their closed off "balancing."
Part of what makes them lack confidence might be because they really don't know what they're doing.
tl;dr: If they can't communicate to us, the audience, properly and confidently, just imagine how their internal communication is like. (Assuming they even communicate at all)
ps: I'm making a such a rage filled comment because I've worked with these kinds of people. The kind of people who latches on to a bad idea just because it's made by a guy with some authority. E.g.: I made an idea about X, a bunch of nooby juniors just nods their heads and goes with it, then it turns out my idea was bad. Yes it's my mistake, and in retrospect, the mistake is blatantly obvious. But what gets me mad is that we're literally paying these juniors for nothing. No constructive/or even destructive feedbacks. Nothing. These guys seem like those kind of guys.
