Sorry but the Galio rework is disappointing. All you had to do was to IMPROVE him, not replace him completely with a new champion called "Galio".
You basically changed his gargoyle fantasy and his peculiar kit into your average and corny demacian superhero. Nothing about Galio was retained in this rework, I guess you gave him the 
treatment.
Just release this 
's abomination as his fetus so we can keep the current Galio.

I am sorry, but I feel like I have missed some information about Galio rework. All I have seen is a one minute teaser from youtube. It sounds like many people here have already played the new Galio. Where and how did you get that gameplay experience?

Baka Red1 votesMy apologies, but since I haven't seen any gameplay of the still-future-Galio yet I cannot tell one way or the other. Only time will tell me what kind of character the new Galio is. Many people are clearly more skilled than me in reading the nuances from that one minute of video. I will have to see the character gameplay to be able to give better opinion. Also, I am unfortunately quite unfamiliar with lore/personality of Galio, so I would be bad judge of character anyways.
Here is my attempt at reading the video gameplay vise only. The abilities of the Galio appear to be:
The flight to turret at the beginning of the video could be special teleport animation maybe, or just fluff which Galio is actually unable to do in-game. Or maybe it is one of the abilities; who knows? Riot. I will wait and see.

Second reason is that with WW's rework they didn't create a goofy character, they preserved at least some aspects of his character. This doesn't seem to be the case here. They took a gargoyle and made a joyful stone bodybuilder....

Yaśuo Main4 votesWhat DID make Galio himself? His High damage AOE Q? His amumu Ult on steroids? "Old" Galio was literally the bane of all mages, and not hard to play at all. I'd enjoy a new champ with Galio slapped on it than the Old Yorick or "Old" Galio.

Edit: if you really want to express the knowledge of someone that doesn't need a full VGU, why not target Urgot, Eve, Tryndamere, Mordekaiser, Pantheon, Swain, Irelia, etc? Work for them hasn't started or is still in the early phases.
