Minions going into fountain: new, bug, or I never noticed?

I was just playing an occasional Bots game — to get my ball rolling, normally winning a game (whether or not the victory is obvious) helps me win my games later on. At the end of the game, I was noticing that when we had destroyed the Nexus towers I had seen minions actually in the enemy fountain. It'd gotten to the point where I'd be able to poke at them while having Guinsoo's and I almost killed Miss Fortune in her own respawn. I never noticed something like this...is there a bug happening, or has this been happening and I never noticed it? Even a couple Minions in the Fountain can lead to easy Spawncamping...so I'm just wondering.

That depends on how many minions in the fountain there are... it also might be a fountain bug where the tower laser doesn't aggro on you when u hit the enemy.

I have seen one or two super minions go into the fountain for no reason before but i assume it was an aggro.

If u mean like a mass of at least 15 minions to like 50 minions in the fountain then it is def a bug

When I was there, it was around 5-8. They were disappearing as fast as Minions normally would if they took Fountain damage, so I'd say there was more beforehand. Perhaps 15 max. It might have been because of the fact the Minions were behind the Nexus, and they prioritized the Champions over the Nexus to the point they went into the Fountain. I wonder if Jax would be able to take advantage of that? Go to the Champ with no Fountain aggro, damage as much damage as possible, then Q before he gets hit? Even Sion would enjoy that, since he'd get additional time to charge his Q.

i think its not a bug rather just something that Riot overlooked in rare circumstances
