Can Viktor get some buffs?
He's not been doing so well ever since the Rylais nerf as most of his damage can't be landed now; his Ult is really hard to use now.
Also, the Ghost nerfs are bad for him.
He's still a decently strong laner but many Mages continue to out-range him. This would be fair if he reliably had more damage but this is no longer the case.
Its also annoying that he has an Ult "bug" (some say it was intended) where if he Ults and dies the Ult disappears with him.

you do realize that people can simply Flash out of the Ult right?
So a solid amount of base damage is kind of necessary. I mean, someone like Annie has an Ult that has a much higher impact on landing.
BeatzBoyFTW1 votesViktor has to set up an area for his W to land some slows & stun. From there, it's the perfect moment for him to throw out his E and then ult. It's either this, or he can dish out his ult on a group of enemies who were merely distracted by his team in order to take advantage of his ult's DoT damage.
Viktor's kit already consisted of a lot of burst damage, mainly from his Q & empowered E. Making his ult's base damage increase would just make him a lot more toxic to fight against.

Well some mages like Lux might build Maw because the extra AD helps with their auto passive procs. So for example, a Lux with a Maw hits Vik harder in addition to the light proc etc...
And trust me, if a mage builds Spirit Visage (especially if its on a Syndra or a Fizz) then the lane is over for Viktor.
l Dárius l1 votesYour logic sucks, and i hate to pull the rank card, but you are silver 4 and i am not going to take what you say about building ad and tank items on ap mages/assassins as fact But if a silvers idea of mage itemization is always right than i can tell you a mage building spirit visage will mean said mage does no damage and even if they work on ap later they will have a really badly delayed power spike and even after items they will still do less damage than usual because damage was replaced by a tank item with 0 synergy on said mage

Assuming that your opponent mid has 40 MR and 824HP (roughly 30% reduction), his ult would be able to kill an opponent alone. Now imagine it together with the rest of his kit.
