To everyone who says ranked is a game of chance...fun fact!

In 100% of every match played always, 50% of all parties involved lose the match.

I understand it is frustrating, and that matchmaking and the ranked experience as a whole arn't perfect but it still comes down to the team that plays best wins more often then not.

And unfortunately, part of "playing best" also includes doing a little morale management of your team, being a good teammate, a good leader and in general just not a jerk.

Trust me, I wish there was more luck involved, maybe then I would get LUCKY and hit gold!

But alas, I'm kinda just bad....

Yeah, as you said: "the best team wins", and thats the problem. The ranked system doesnt look at and rate you as an individual player, it rates 5 strangers as one unit and that doesnt work all that well.

Maybe if I didn't always have an autolock Jinx ADC or Kassadin mid that goes 3-8 EVERY GAME I would be able to climb to gold.

But no, fuck being able to come back because one ally died to a Tristana once

It actually has more to do with luck than skill in roughly 85% of games. As the luck comes from the very start, in match-making. More often than not, you will have a team that is either not taking it seriously, or just playing ranked like normals and ruin it for the people who are trying to win and playing ranked right.

More often then not, I am the only person who tries and we go against players who try hard as well. Its just how it is, which is why I refused to play ranked after I dropped from Silver 2 to Silver 4 after 10 consecutive loses.
