Two minor observer mode QOL changes that would make my day.

  1. I found out fairly recently that you can swap the champion portraits in the bottom box of the observer mode, and thought it would be amazing if the status portraits on the right and left side would shuffle their positions based on how you changed the bottom.

  2. Sometimes I watch a friend's game while I wait to queue with them afterwords, and thought it would be amazing if spectated games could give you a little popup that displayed something like, "This game has ended, would you like to exit the game or continue observing.".

Just two minor things that would make me happy.

If there is a way to do this already, please feel free to let me know, I'd totally appreciate it.

Not going to lie, I like that second one. When I spectate, I am usually waiting for someone to finish as well. It would really help to at least be able to whisper to people outside that game from the spectator mode, so I can whisper them before I enter to let me know when they are done.

Ya I agree with both of these. If I'm waiting for them to finish, I have to guess when it looks like the game's about to end and exit it ahead of time.

They could also;

  • Add the ability to chat with other spectators.
  • Better arrange the UI so the chat window isn't behind the highlighted champion info window (in game, there's nothing blocking your chat in that spot, but in spectator it's in the way)
  • or, Do not share chat window placement between spectator and in-game. If you move it in one mode, it will be in that spot in the other mode too.
  • Allow access to your Friends List, Chat Rooms, and Notifications while in Spectator mode.

I would love the second one my friend's sometiems don't know im spectating their game and they queue up again because I didn't know their game ended

I would like the "OMG BAD WORDS" filter to be disabled when spectating games. I have the filter disabled already; I don't need Riot shielding me from "OMG BAD WORDS" spoken by other players in a game I'm spectating.

I love both of these. And when the order of the champions change, they need to update the hotkeys associated with each champion as well. I frequently double-tap 1-5 or Q-T in order to just follow one person around and watch what they do.

The target frame blocks chat for me. Not sure if it's just a problem at my resolution/screen size but it's pretty annoying to have to close it to see chat.
