So I'm a top lane main. Last season I was Gold 2, but I'm only at Gold 4 as far as this season goes. I main Renekton with a pocket-pick Jax whenever someone else picks my champ.
However, when I first picked Jax, I got put against a Fiora for the first time. Any advice on how I don't get facerolled every trade?

48983507DEL11 votesThat's what I do. She has the inherent advantage because even if she doesn't dodge the stun, she can still probably win the trade as long as she hits the attack-speed slow that Riposte offers.
taleofsonata1 votesI don't think fiora can outrade Jax unless she just Q and never AA, Jax can press E and just AA and if she Q away to dodge your end of E just Q and AA W.

Post six he can't stand and fight her because her ultimate gives her so much extra damage plus the heal.

Reactivate Counter Strike earlier, then. Be unpredictable. Against a good Fiora you have a roughly .25 second window to stun her, based on when she Ripostes.
Riposte when she tries combo'ing you.
Don't try to fight her without your passive stacked at least partially - of course you're gonna lose if you're only using 3 abilities and she's using 3 and her passive.
Cubíx1 votesLow key, just play renekton against her, its alot easier. But if you do get match up against her, rush a randiuns, like first item. That alone puts her in her place, Ive been in the reverse situation (fiora against jax) and I killed him twice and then he grabbed randuins and I could no longer fight him. Fighting/trades against her, I recommend putting a few hits in and then leaping away, pretty much wait her out until you can at least get the armor for the raduins.
The issue is a I play a good amount of fiora and not too much Jax, sorry, but I tried.
