An Akali with a Hextech Revolver and a Vampiric Scepter turret dived me as Vel'Koz while I was FULL HP and significantly more fed than her. She proceeded to eat up 4 turret shots and all of my abilities before she died, and she ended up killing me.
People are making the excuse that she's an assassin? Really? So it's balanced to have absolutely zero counterplay whatsoever and be able to all in your lane opponent under turret while also being behind?

Everyone here has tried to explain and you just insult what they tell you. I looked your profile up, you are not ranked, so it's understandable you might not have the same grasp of counter picks. Pre level 6, Akali is anyone's punching bag, Vel even more so than most. Especially against Vel, the second she hits 6, the situation completely reversed. You can't hit her, she keeps dashing at you, and you must have missed your knock up under the tower if she killed you under. Also, I looked at your match history, if your getting stomped by an Akali, getting something like Abyssal will make her much easier to deal with. Four tower shots inst enough to kill quickly, especially if she has some healing, next time, just stay calm and hit your knock up, then she is toast.

I think it's not akali, but more of the fact that turrets STILL DO JACK FUCKING SHIT when it comes to damage and survivability. I can legitimately tank a second tier or nexus turret on any fighter class with just 1-2 armor/magic items. hell, you pick the right fighter/tank and poof, you're able to turret dive at level 4 and laugh as the tower does little to no damage as you just walk away.
I think that towers damage should be True damage, or also apply the GW passive.. that way you don't have someone like Garen, Volibear, etc just soaking up turret damage while still being able to heal for the full amount
