As a support main, I feel like getting Ezreal fed is pitching gold into a wishing well. He has no hard CC, is the weakest artillery mage, and doesn't have solid DPS; so what exactly is he contributing to a teamfight and therefore what's the point of getting him fed? MAYBE he blows up one person, or pokes out a mispositioning carry carry, but I'd rather have a more consistent win condition. I feel like all Ezreal is good for is laning.
he contributes to not feeding the enemy bot lane. even if he sux, he wont feed so much so that is his value
it's a very overlooked power
Ezreal can poke out enemies, is a safe choice and has one of the best mid-game spikes.
A good Ezreal will deal solid damage from range, be unreachable through his E and Iceborn gauntlet (Name another adc that can build an armor item and still do so much damage), he has a strong 2 item spike, good at sieging due to his consistent poke, high burst. His survivability from the double tear build is far greater than most adcs. Ezreal's utility is his ability to do loads of damage without dying as easily as other adcs.
Now the problem is that most Ezreals are not good, watch a pro player like Deft play him and you'll see him used to his full potential.
