Rough Character Concept: Percival, the Zealous Warlord

Lore: Percival, a street urchin in the city of Demacia, watched the parades of shining knights lead by Garen as they marched to and from battle with hungry eyes. He became obsessed with knighthood and becoming a great leader himself. He worked every odd job he could and subsisted on bread and water. He stole meat to build muscle, a rusted sword to practice and constantly picked fights with older, tougher kids. When he came of age he enrolled into the military academy with the money he'd saved. It was plain to his peers and superiors that he wasn't of noble birth. His swordplay was rough and his fighting was brutish and unrefined. What he brought, however, was devotion to Demacian virtues and a ferocity in combat that rivaled Noxian Bloodlust. Although he improved leaps and bounds faster than any other student, his squirehood and eventual knighthood were constantly tested. He was seen as unstable and dangerous. However, Jarvan recognized his ability to learn, his unhealthy devotion and his unparralleled animosity as something that would greatly the Demacian army. Percival was assigned to Jarvan the 4th's entourage the day Jarvan was captured by Swain. Percival witnessed the deaths of his fellow knights and suffered torture at the hands of the enemy. He was beaten savagely but through gargled blood and heaving pants he recounted the many great victories of his kingdom and the failures of the Noxian empire. Others who were incarcerated cite his unwavering faith as their only strength the day their king was defeated. Queued for execution and singing anthems, Percival was among the first to take up arms during Garen's harrowing rescue. Until the creation of the League of Legends, Percival was among the most unyielding and inspiring of Demacia's front-line commanders. Battered and aging, he now serves his kingdom on the Fields of Justice enduring the harshest of punishment and rallying his allies to victory with a conviction that never falters.

Concept: I envision Percival to be an unimposing knight. His armor is this darkened, unremarkable steel plate. His sword is just a standard English short sword and his shield is just a wooden buckler with an iron belt on the perimeter. His prowess is keen, contrasting his equipment, and the magical properties of his abilities are the result of his unrelenting true-faith and his talent for oration. His dialogue ranges from quoting the coat of arms to making excited comments on battles fought on the Fields of Justice. He's a melee champion who runs on CDs, the duration/Cool Downs of his abilities are influenced by the amount of allies effected.

Range - Melee Health - 430 (+89) Hp5 - 7 Base Melee - 50 (+3.5) Base Armor - 27 Base M.res - 30 Move Speed - 350

Passive- Taste My Steel!: After using an ability, Percival's next auto attack deals an additionally 20% base attack damage and taunts target champion for .3/.6/1 second.

Q - Have at Thee!: (linear collision range - 600) Percival points his sword in the direction of the enemy. He then charges forward, increasing the movespeed of allied champions and large minions moving toward him by 3/5/7/10/12%. The Cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds for each unit effected, cannot occur more than once on the same unit per cast. CD - 12s

W - Strike Now! : Percival calls the weakness of his enemy, reducing thier armor/M.res by 2/4/6/8/10%. Target is marked visibly with a broken shield symbol. Percival has true sight of the target. Lasts 2 seconds, length is increased by 1 second with each attack Percival lands, to a cap of 6 seconds.. CD - 30s

E - Hold the Line! : Percival marks a line within 800u of his current position. His next auto attack knocks the target back 200u and allies near the line gain 6/8/10/12/15% AD and AP. This effect wanes the farther an ally is from the line to a minimum of 5% at 600u from the line. Lasts 1/2/3/4/5s. CD - 20s

R - Stand Strong!: Percival's true-fath allows him to shoulder his allies burdens creating a field around him 150/300/450u wide wherein 5/10/15% of all damage done to his allies is dealt as true damage to him instead. During this time Percival gains 5% increase to his health, armor, and M.Res and an additional 5% for every allied champion in that field. If Percival dies during this time the cooldown of this ability is reduced by half. Lasts 3 seconds. 230/200/170s cooldown.

Skin Idea: Battle-Standard Percival - Percival's armor returns to the glorious sheen it had in the days of war. Bossed steel plate is trimmed in silver and the Demacian coat of arms shows brazenly off his metal kite-shield reflecting the sunlight. His sword is polished and wanting wear. His voice echoes (slightly) with the conviction and power he exudes.

His lore is quite lacking. It goes to fast at there's holes everywhere. On a better note, i love his kit. I'm a bit confused by his E and how it works, but the rest of the kit is very strong.

Hey quick question. Did you know that the concept contest is also judging based off of having skin ideas?

I understand that the choice of separating the details and the entry post may have been a mistake on my part and I'm going around seeing who may have been unaware.
