mmr vs lp. why not have lp reflect what your mmr is?

if im bronze why are you putting me against gold and plat players? ive eveen seen a rare diamond player. im only bronze, if you think im winning to much that i need to be placed against gold plat or diamond players, then dont you think i should also be gold plat or diamond? at the very least im a gold player, ive hit silver 1 multiple times doing promo 6 times consecutively back to back to get into gold. untill you decided you needed to place me vs such high ranked players, and put such bad players on my team to feed them. ive checked the stats on the enemy players using websites to check their rank. riot, you should change your ranked LP system to match the MMR . if i lose a game vs gold players i love 20+ lp but if i win i get barely over half that, so i have to win 2 matches for every 1 loss in order to rank up. but then i win so much that its impossible to win and i end up with 8 loss streaks that demote me, so then i stay stuck in bronze, but you still place me with gold and plats. why do you mess with me so much riot? why do you want to hurt us psychologicly with your ladder anxiety? do you get a laugh out of it? is it some hilarious joke you play on people so you can get your rocks off? if im bronze make me fight bronze, untill i hit silver then i fight silver, until i hit gold then i fight gold, and so on, untill im where i properly belong fighting other players who properly belong there, and we play honorably. and if i start to lose but im a gold caliber player, dont allow me to drop down to silver, because im not a silver player, im a gold player, and should fight people of my skill caliber and have ppl with my skill caliber on my team.

LP gains/losses do depend on your mmr. If you're losing more LP than you're gaining, it means your mmr is lower than the average for the division you're currently in.

Additionally, the whole point of mmr is to match similarly skilled people together regardless of what their rank is, so it is theoretically possible for people of a completely different rank to play each other but still be at the same skill level. (That said, the LP gains/losses tend to mean that things don't get too out of sync unless people are actively trying to manipulate the system.)

I did skim the last dozenish games of yours and everything seems to be as expected; you're in bronze 3 mostly facing bronze 3 players give or take a division, as well as a handful of silver 5 players who have fallen that far (but not down to the bronze 5 level it'd require for them to actually be demoted from silver 5 to bronze 1). Feel free to point me towards a ranked game in which you faced a diamond, or even a plat, as those seem rather unlikely to ever show up at your rank, even if they were exceptionally poor diamond/plats. Even seeing a gold player in one of your games seems improbable, but it might be possible with some careful manipulation of mmr and/or premades with particularly poor silvers.

you haven't faced anyone past silver in any of your last 20 ranked matches, and if you did have gold/plat mmr you would be gaining a ton of lp in wins and losing a lot less in losses
