Just think about it. No screwing with the casual players and fucking with the pro players. No unnecessary changes to Shen, Aurelion Sol and Lissandra. Just somewhat undisturbed peace.
Weathered2 votesI said something similar and people brought up that pro players will practice in soloq and other means, which would be on a separate patch and not the one they need to be used to. I guess its not practical.

That, and if Riot did separate the game mode. They wouldn't likely be able to balance both modes concurrently. If the pro patch took all their effort into balancing for worlds, the YoloQ patch would be stagnant and contain nothing. (except maybe that yorick rework we got) And then we would have to wait another patch cycle to see some yoloQ balance.
And that would have created the same problem (or mostly the same) that they have trying to balance a normal patch for pro play.
