Strange climbing experience

So earlier in the season i climbed from s5 - s1 got into promo's and lost so many games in a row that i fell back to s3, I recently got back up to s1 with 80 lp and have now lost 7 games in a row and am back in s2 with 18lp. (and these loss streaks are over the course of multiple days so it isn't just getting super tilted one day) I also see a lot of people in g3-g2 in my games. Any one else have stuff like this happening or do i just secretly not want to get gold?
