why do people say "support" then not play at all like a support

in the last 7 days i have had as my support when i go adc. the support dose not run setups to get me fed at all. either it steals the kills with auto attack or a skill. then to make it worse none of the 2 xin supports even buy wards. both times adc role was open when the xin said support. if people want to adc they should just go adc if the role is open to them. i dodged the 3rd game where some one said "xin support". my only retaliation is ap support . team needs wards and vision and the support clearly wont do that. then the person who said xin support says they are not trolling. when they wont play the basics of the support job. i wanna know if playing support halfway or not at all is becoming the new meta?

because they wanna ap carry or top lane tank but those spots always get taken and they get sick of getting forced into the position so they take it out on your game

If it is ranked they are probably going for cheese strategies. If it is normals then who cares.

Cheese strategies win/lose you the game easily so often people go for them for a quick game.

allot of people think its "op" to go full damage support and take all the kills on a non meta support. which in low elos it is op because no one knows how to work around a non meta support and ends up feeding their faces off to a lane they should crush -.-

If I go damage support, I still play as a support until the ADC fcks up. then take over lane. I usually do this on mage supports like Morgana or Karma.

just don't think that Chogath support is trolling unless they intentionally steal a kill.

chogath makes a pretty decent support with tankiness, large AOE moves, multiple crowd control forms, an instant nuke strategy for the carry to follow up on, etc

the hard part as a chogath support is itemizing as you have to go for mana, gold, and tankiness along with your normal damage output and warding with minimal wards or warding with minimal items.

you typically Q minions for the carry to one-shot them, especially when an enemy is among them and by the time chogath's Q is strong enough that it one-shots minions, the laning phase is pretty much over anyway and now you have a crowd control specialized support as well as an APCarry(though typically behind)

No other role has an entire extra player dedicated to you getting farm and kills and all you have to do is shoot your gun.

Take what you can get.

also keep in mind any one champ can only place 3 green wards + 1 pink. that wont cover the whole map. maybe grab some as well or upgrade your trinket.
