Are adc's dead?

Being an ex adc main, I feel that with the tank meta coming, adcs are slowly are dieing....not saying that we should nerf the tanks, but we should buff adc's....as in....buff because with the low cost of ( ) and adc's become useless and the literally kill themselves and die in the processes from the damage output.....so my advice...buff bork..and keep the jungler's buff

ok....so what people don't understand is that you can try to push, and a tank jumps on your butt....what can that adc do? The adc's can't do damage to the tank cause then they will die....adcs can't run away, cause tanks in the meta have too much cc....so wtf

ADC's will never be irrelevant simply because they are the best at busting towers. Sivir is also relevant because of that massive team speed-boost. You can't go wrong with Lucian or Jinx either.

Well, Koggy is the best right now, imho, but with the rise of tank sustained damage ADCs are stronger than burst ones. So Ashe Caitlyn Jinx Kalista KogMaw Sivir Vayne seem all more or less viable to me.

ADC builds naturally shred tanks late-game. A tank tries to delay your late-game, so it might come off like that, but once you're full build it takes a matter of seconds to shred them (remember last season when people hated tanks who got melted like squishies?). To counter thornmail, remember to have a decent amount of lifesteal and/or magic resist. During teamfights, stay behind your backline. Even if you counter tanks and whatnot, almost anyone can burst down a squishy, but you will out-damage them in only matter of seconds so surviving is crucial to dealing damage in a teamfight.

In my opinion, as long as you have:

Good adc skills (orb walking, positioning, kiting, farming)
A team with at least a tank and a decent peeler
Allies with basic knowledge of the game

You can play Koggy as if he was a normal adc.
