So today was my breaking point, I was in ranked champ select, and all a sudden my client freezes and crashes making me wait in a 30 min penalty. I am not even crying about the countless amounts of promos I lost due to this, but please, is there a way I can fix it or avoid it?
You shouldn't just ignore it when freezes/crashes are happening often enough to work up to a queue time penalty.
Make sure windows is up to date. Make sure drivers are up to date. Try shutting down other programs that might interfere. Run a league client repair. If that doesn't work, uninstall, delete, and reinstall the game. If all else fails, you can submit a ticket to support and they might be able to do further diagnostics to help find the issue.
