Tower ago ;-;

So I was playing Ezreal and I was at bot tower (purple first tower), I ulted and hit an enemy that was near their second tower (purple second tower), leading to the tower aggroing and almost killing me. Idk if this is a bug or intentional, cause I saw some changes to the tower AI and was wondering if this was one of them.
