Being Able To Outrun Certain Skillshots

This is a huge fundamental flaw in my opinion.

For example: If you have boots (And possibly without them, I havent tested) You can actually outrun a Xerath Q 90% of the time. This a huge flaw in a champion based on Skillshot accuracy.

As well as Ziggs, although I haven't played much of Ziggs so I won't say much about him. But this is a huge flaw in the game and it has to be addressed at some point. You should receive the hit under these circumstances:

  1. Predicting their movement
  2. Hitting your skillshot at the center of mass leaving them to be unable to OUTRUN your skillshot.

Only champions I know of so far that have this flaw are:

Xerath's Q Ziggs Q Jinx's Zap

And probably so many others that I haven't really noticed yet.

That is LITERALLY the entire point of skillshots.

Peak human reaction time is something like 13 frames which not everyone is capable of and that's only if they know exactly what they're looking for. If you throw in other effects to complicate things or they try to pay attention to the minimap at the same time then that average time-to-react gets longer and longer.

Even in situations where the opponent can "easily" dodge your ability, you are still controlling their movements and funneling their position into a place where they might get hit by a different skillshot, or just be forced too far away from the objective so your team can take it.

Try playing a Danmaku sometime, Touhou games are pretty easy. Those games are built entirely around slow-moving, easily dodge-able bullets multiplied until there are enough slow-moving, easily dodge-able bullets that your perception just becomes overloaded and they stop being easy to dodge.

If every skillshot was able to land, then there is no skill. Skillshots are called SKILLSHOTS because they require SKILL.

Some skillshots are made easier to dodge on purpose because of their cc / damage/ spammability / range

The game would be boring if every skillshot was equally easy to hit.

OK maybe I said this wrong. I agree with you guys, what I am saying though is for skillshot reliant champions like Xerath, you should not be able to simply outrun his stuff. The definition of his champion is accuracy.

I'm saying, you should only be able to dodge his Q by predicting it.

Let's say Xerath is charging his Q. He looks at the Diana and sees her moving to the left, so in his mindset he is thinking, "I am going to predict that she is moving left and lead my Q more to her left." Then Diana has two decisions to make. Either continue moving left and get hit, or switch directions and predict that he is predicting her making her dodge it. She shouldnt be able to simply outrun the Q with reflex, because that is simply flawed. Maybe i'm wrong? But I don't see that being fair.
