Not only does Darius win lane against every single bruiser in the game
As someone who plays a lot of Darius I can tell you this is untrue, Jayce beats him pretty easily and to a lesser extent Renekton but that's more of a skill match up

but he scales way too hard. Apart from Nasus, pretty much no other top laner scales as well as Darius does in terms of damage and tankyness late game (because a Darius with nothing but armor and health can still one shot any squishy in one combo),
You forgot the part where he has ZERO mobility and is easy as fuck to peel from your team and is only tanky through items, meaning if you don't feed him 20 kills (slight over exaggeration) in lane he won't be tanky.
on top of having absurdly strong early game.
Damn, a champion that traded everything for damage has a strong early game, who would have thought.
Seriously, you can kill this guy 4 times in lane and he will still be more usefull than you in teamfights because of his damage and utility.
His only utility is his pull and an on hit slow; he is there to basically FORCE you to target him and not the adc, in fact he works as an amazing peel from the adc because if you dive and try to focus their adc he will dunk your ass.
