Let's take a moment to remember dominion, the only gamemode where you can just play for fun with little to no pressure and try out champions quickly.

  • Summoner's Rift is too long and toxic and stressful and tedious.

  • Twisted Treeline is too long and boring with only 3 champs per team.

  • ARAM is incredibly unbalanced champion wise and boring by design, having only 1 lane and very little strategic options.

I still don't understand why they removed dominion.

I mostly played Dominion. It was quite a bit of fun up in the high MMR levels since you end up knowing pretty much everyone else. It was a tight-knit community and Riot destroyed it.

RIP Hide and Seek. It was a really fun mini-game for me and is just impossible on other maps with turrets.

I used to play scumbag back-cap Shaco all the time on Dominion. Movement speed quints, Flash + Ghost, movement speed masteries, first buy Mobi boots, rush Ludens, Twin shadows, and other movement speed items. Burn Flash + Ghost + Q out of the gate and cap top before anyone could get there. So many people raging at me on the other team. Fun times

Dominion is one of the most fun game modes to play with friends too honestly.

Probably because Ivern would be the most broken thing we can comprehend, ever, in H&S.

also the only mode where every champ actually had been viable (sure, some a little more than others - but never as far apart as on SR).
