DynamicQ isn't competitive...

because I lose to premades. Muh logic.

[zombie-brand-facepalm]

If it's not competitive why don't you just climb then?

Just farming my daily downvotes from all those sheep.

So there is no advantage to having coordinated teammates that you've practiced with multiple time vs. people who are random? Are you saying that 5 random strangers can beat a group of people who have probably played many blind pick matches, and have communication software to allow for quick rotations and coordinated ganks?

... The ability to climb isn't the issue. The difficulty added when you are alone is the issue.

And now a valid reason?

Its a valid reason for why dynamic queue caters to the popular, and well connected; which adds a bad dynamic ( DDDDDDDDDD: ) to the game.

The whole Point of this thread is to show how hypocritical the people complaining about DynamicQ are. They Claim that DynQ isn't competitive and in the same sentence they say that playing against premades is unfair because they have an Advantage due to external voice communication.

Which in the end makes this queue more competitive than old soloQ. Harder games means exactly that.

So you think the more difficult something is the more competitive? Climbing Mount Everest is difficult, but would you say its competitive? I think that the ability to climb a mountain with people who already have scoped out good trails, and know all the hazards is easier than those who choose to climb the mountain with others who have no idea what the good trails or hazards are. While I agree that the competition aspect of the climb itself is futile- the winning or losing the race up the mountain is made easier by those around you, who have already made it to the top.

You are taking this completely out of context for the sake of proofing my exact wording wrong. GJ, it's a pointless Argument.

It's not hypocritical. Dynamic queue hurts competitive integrity by not only giving one subset of the population (premades with voice chat) an advantage over others (solo queue and premades who don't use voice chat), but also by using that rank that belongs to their premade as a whole to determine who that individual will be matched with when they solo queue. Which leads to far more unbalanced games than before.

I don't even particularly care about competitive integrity in league anymore, I'm more upset with dynamic queue because of those 4-man premades you sometimes get who truly make the game hell... but your thread is based on very flimsy reasoning OP.

DQ isn't competitive when I win against/with premades either.

Maybe OP should go read up on Elo and how it works, if it doesn't stretch his brain too far, and then he could also understand why the mmr doesnt work with DQ

Typical SoloQQer behavior.

ELO doesn't work in this game. ELO only works on games you play solo or in a predefined team. But I guess you know it better because you blindly hate on everything Riot does instead of using your own brain power (which you most likely are capable of doing without a Problem)

it's not ELO, its Elo. It's the guy's name, not an acronym. Stop showing off your ignorance, and definitely stop w/ the personal attacks.

Just because a fact doesn't support your opinion doesn't make it any less true.

Elo is based on some math and very specific premises. It's a stretch to adjust it to fit fixed teams, its impossible to apply it to non-rostered teams. The requisite sample size would be impossibly large and you won't have any statistically significant results.

If you can't be bothered to understand how these systems work, then you shouldn't be attacking the criticisms that stem from it

And you repeated what I said. It's impossible to apply to LoL. That's why we don't use elo but MMR.
