Is that it presumes there are champions that people react differently to nowadays, past 25 minutes. You've got vision on someone? Cool, zoom in and murder them. The tankiest of tanks might deter the assassins, but they'll still be engaged on because teams are barely punished for that now.

So how would Nekko win a war of information when the information is meaningless? Pretend to be low health to bait? Jk there's no difference between full health and low health for squishies. Maybe, MAYBE, you make them think a key ally isn't where they're supposed to be on the map (backdoors and such), but making plays that necessarily gives the enemy vision of you, a squishy champ, well unless you have good peel that's just inting.

When people say there's no strategy to this game anymore, I think of all the cheeky things that could be done with Nekko and then realize almost none of them would work in the game's current state. Real bummer, I would've mained her back in the day.

Early-game, she can trick enemies into thinking they know which side the jungler is on or other things with showing on the map. Late-game, it has a very short cooldown, and is most useful for disguising her ult windup or potentially fooling enemies into hiding behind minions when she disguises as a hook champion or somebody like Zoe or Ahri who has a skillshot you need to block with minions.

I saw a Neeko mimicking the enemy team's assassin. She'd show top, so somebody would go split bottom and then get deleted by the real assassin.
