What to do when ur team wants to start bad fights?

Say I’m the jungler in this scenario which I usually am cause I man jg, say I’m playing khazix except I’m 5 kills behind the enemy jungler, at this point my plan is to try to get objectives and weave in some ganks when they open but most importantly farm a lot when I can,

But let’s say the enemy mid laner something like a sylas or a yasuo is fed and the top laner is someone like a maokai,an ornn, a malphite, enemy bot lane wins lane proceeds to move to mid lane next and our bot lane follows as well, so at this point it’s a standoff mid 3v3 normally I think ppl would just wait under tower and capitalize on a mistake and get a pick to start the team fight but no they engage the 3v3 knowing something like a sylas or yasuo is fed and ofc they lose that fight and let’s say they still do it when the enemy jungler or top laner come in, they are still forcing fights as much as possible, and ofc everyone on my team is tearing each other up at this point. Like what do I do?

TLDR: what to do as a jungler when my team keeps wanting to take bad fights?

You actually can not do anything. Riot has made it so that one person cannot win a game but one person can lose you a game. You have to just accept that your team is going to pretty much int and take the loss. I know it sucks but that is all you can do.

Sit at the edge of the fight where you will have the opportunity to join in or retreat depending on how the fight is going. If a game changer, like an ally landing a perfect 5-man stun happens, then chance it and go in. If the fight is going very poorly, then retreat and start waveclearing to try to stall for your allies to respawn. Repeat this until you either get that game changing chance to make a comeback, or you can no longer effectively stall and therefore lose the game.

You can ask your team to not keep trying to initiate straightup teamfights while you're behind, but don't be rude or condescending. Don't assume you know better than your team about which fights are good opportunities either. Risk taking might be your best odds to make a comeback. Keep in mind that you probably have a similar MMR to your teammates afterall.

You suck up the frustration and participate in the fight. You're odds of winning the fight and match are better if you try to help than if you let them get killed while undermanned, then the rest of you die after when the enemy takes advantage of knowing you're now undermanned.

It depends on a lot of different things.

If you're in Bronze or Silver, then it's anyone's fight to lose, go in. I noticed that many people in lower ELO play every champion in League for ranked, so they're not going to generally use their kits in the best way possible. You can probably either win the fight, or get some important picks.

If you're in Gold or Plat, then I think it's best to let that fight play out how you know it will. At the very least stay close by just in case someone does make a major mistake and you can turn the fight. Usually, that just ain't gonna happen in that ELO though.

Diamond and above I don't know, but the majority of people are low ELO anyways.

If you know how the fight is going to play out, then chances are your teammate(s) does as well. They just feel like they're in a hopeless spiral, and it's season 9, so who knows, you all may be in a hopeless spiral because god forbid you have to trade damage for safety in this game.

However, people that engage in hopeless fights are generally tilted, so anything you can do to deescalate the situation would be good.

Don't berate them for engaging in a dumb fight. Just ask them to wait until like barron is gone for example, or your hard CC has their abilities up. Maybe a champion needs their item, etc. Every time the team chat has descended into chaos the tilt has gotten 10 times worse in my experience, so all you can do is try to avoid that.
