Summoner Spell Syngergy

I was just reading this post on Surrender@20 and a bit of wording caught my attention. This quote by Xypherous is what got me thinking:

An ideal sentiment - though I think that ideal would be cooler, if again, the summoner spells actually synergized at all in ways that didn't immediately make the gameplay super dull.

This gave me two ideas.

The first idea is if summoner spells gave a player an additional passive based on the summoners chosen. Having Ghost/Teleport might give you a small movement speed boost while moving toward friendly towers and minions, where as having Ghost/Smite might make you faster while in the jungle.

The second idea is having a small added effect for each spell depending on what your other spell is. Having Heal, for example, might give you a potion like healing effect when you use your other summoner spell, where as having Clairvoyance might give you a small boost to sight distance when you use your other spell.

Anyone have any additional ideas or criticisms?

Bonus effects should only work for melee, like

Flash gives you 10% ms boost for 2 secs and bonus 2% ms while on cd
