Why no resize / Move minimap option considering how important it is?

Just a thought. Since I've moved to a bigger monitor, I find it very difficult to watch the minimap out of the corner of my eye now since it moves it so far off to the side. Could we get the option to make the minimap as large as we want or position it on our screen anywhere, not just the left or right corners?

I would honestly love to play with a huge minimap. It's so important and I feel when I'm playing my best, so much time is spent staring at that small little corner. Why not give us the option to customize it a little more?
