AP Upgrade for QSS

We need an AP upgrade for QSS. How is it fair that AD champs can opt to upgrade QSS into Merc Scim but AP champs don't get one? CC affects everyone in the game, regardless of them being AP or AD. Give AP a QSS upgrade.

As much as I would love an AP upgrade for QSS. We won't get one because of Zhonyas.

Isnt Zhonya used as counter argument for Maw? AD champions have Mercurial, Edge of Night, Maw against AP champions, while AP champions only have Zhonya against AD champions.

Its because theres a bunch of mage items that are effective against AD and AP due to giving health. item 3116 item 3027 item 3152 item 3030 item 3151 . They also have one of best Magic resist items with item 3102 that makes it impossible to initiate on them without first breaking spell shield.

Fair enough, but would it be too much to make it like this:

item 3191 + item 3140

Removes all disables and puts u in stasis. Increase price. That way AP champions dont need to sacrifice item slot to deal with Malzahar or Warwick or Skarner

Tbh, just get rid of the Zhonyas passive and give it Qss passive. Done deal.

You and me both. That is why I started taking cleanse in almost every game recently.

Makes a hell of a difference. ZH active is really bad. Basically just giving the enemy time to catch you and kill you as soon as it is up.

AD champions have access to Guardian Angel which can be considered an equivalent safety net. It resurrects them from whatever just killed them and puts them in stasis. Zhonya's only puts you at stasis at will, potentially avoiding damage but also opening yourself to becoming even more vulnerable to the damage after the stasis ends. This can be argued for GA too, but given that AD has GA and AP has Zhonya, the playing field is pretty equivalent in that regard.

AD champs also have access to a spell shield that they can put up at will with Edge of Night that also grants health with the new patch. If poke pops out a Banshee's Veil spell shield, that's 40 seconds of being vulnerable to anything that comes your way.
