Season 1-2 vs... now

I really hate how the community has been brain washed to think that the balance is any better than it was in s1-s2.

The honest truth about s1-s2, I was the worst I ever was, and hopefully will be, at league. In fact, I only played my 10 games of ranked to get rewards, hell even level 20's were let into ranked because there was shortage of players. What I did play though was close to 2000 normals.

Long story short, sure back then we raged about new champs being op on release, and some of them were. However, what I didn't feel bad about doing is picking up a champ and playing them. I didn't feel like shit just for picking the wrong champion into someone else. Sure, some games I got the shit kicked out of me, but you could turtle up and get some farm and get back into the game. Now its just a snowball fest of I died first GG...

I remember where tank like cho, mundo, rammus were actually unkillable if built correctly... Oh how I miss the times of season gone.

I 'member. Everything was so great back then. It's not nostalgia glasses at all. We loved AP Yi and launch Xin. Nobody every complained about anything. There were no trolls, feeders, completely broken OP shit.....none of it.

New players haven't lived through hell until they've seen Release TwistedFate

Season 2-3 were best because you had occasional balance issues, but they were addressed quickly.

Well they patched every week allowing them to move things around faster.

Still wating for an old-school rotating gamemode - Not necessarily Back to DODGE the game. But Season 2? Or if we feel funny - back to Release-Roaster/-Items/-Stats/-Runes/-Masteries? x'D

They have old builds, they just have to!

Playing just once more with my good old Xerath (now that I'm actually able to play the game)... damn I'd pay for that!

Now you made me melancholic.. thx... [zombie-nunu-tears]

they was no decently cohesive meta back then, gameplay wasn't optimized, of course everything seem'd a lot more fair back then.

people are more knowledgeable about the game now even in lower division, when i joined in session 3 i saw people afk auto attacking waves in bronze 5

now when i go to bronze 5 i only see it once every 3 or so games. the community is bigger people are learning and there is so much content out there to do it.

the game is a snowball fest because riot added in more damage, made tank items cheaper, and ardent cencor is the only item other then sight stone a support needs.

in short, items are cheaper, towers and objectives are more valuable then kills which leads into games being shorter and rotational based
