Riot can you please get new champs out of ranked for release week it makes players so toxic...

Literally can not play ranked right now. 2 to 3 people on both teams instantly select Pyke and start flaming eachother over who gets him.... then if i ban him everyone cries that they are trolling and feeding...if i dont ban him the first person to lock him causes the other 2 to cry and say they are trolling and feeding.... This is why new release champs shouldnt be in ranked till a week after release when all the scrubs have them out of their system.

I mean, they do this with pro play. They disable a new champ or rework from those matches till the next patch. Honestly a week or a week and a half seems like a good amount of time to have a champ like him disabled from ranked for.

I don't care what my team thinks. I ban him anyways. sitting at a 37% win rate because of that, but totally worth it.

Eh pretty Sure ur teams aren't the reason for the loss bud. I did see your profile OmegaLUL. Plus banning out a champ your team wants to pick increases the chance for your loss so I would recommend not to do that. Not all players are bad at a certain new champs. I myself played him in ranked and managed to do well with him with kda like 15 8 7 in the jungle with none of my teammates flaming me during champ select. Have some trust will ya :)

Totally agree with this. I always just take a break from ranked each time a champion is reworked in a massive way or a new champion comes out, because the experience is nearly always like you described. [sg-ahri-1]

I've always said new and reworked champs shouldn't be played in ranked.

I've only played 4 games since Pykes release and 3 of those games he was on enemy team and all 3 games he lost lol..........so maybe i don't mind people using him 1st week....long as he is on enemy team.

But.....Riot will never disable new and reworked champs from ranked during their release weeks because it will cut into their skin sells. Some people are limited on their time they have to play. So when they do play, if they like ranked, they play ranked. If they know they cant use the champ when they go to play rank they will not buy a skin. And by time they are able to use the champ in ranked they may change their mind.

Unfortunately Blizzard figured it out first... :( When a new champ is released in Overwatch they ban him from ranked for at least 2 weeks. But Riot...they just want us to suffer. 120+ released champs...and for 8 years no one in the Riot team thought of the idea "Maybe we should wait for the people to figure out the champ first and not let them fail other peeps's games.
