Vayne is the worst design in League of Legends

I'd rather eat a bowl of nails than lane against a Vayne either bot or top. Press the Attack is tailor made for her to just obliterate matchups she should lose or go even in. There is nothing interactive about Vayne's kit, nothing to outplay, nothing to predict or have counterplay against. Everything about her is either point and click or a stat-check. If you can't CC lock her until she's dead, then you lose. I'd rather lane against an Akali, a Pantheon, a Heimer, than Vayne, because at least I know that if I can play smart and not let them get kills or keep them down, they won't be useful later on. Not so with Vayne. She buys two items and comes online, and her stupid reset ult lets her wipe teamfights with little to no risk of being dived thanks to her self-peel and constant in-combat, no counterplay stealth, alongside all the CC and shields and peel her team is giving her. It doesn't fucking matter if you don't have built-in AoE damage when you can kill any champion in three auto attacks.

Riot tried to move her towards tank-busting again and away from her tumble-1000 crit playstyle. They've failed miserably. She does the exact same thing she's been doing for two seasons now - buys IE and Stattik and kills a squishy in two autos with the absurd amount of burst she's allowed through crit itemization. Vayne has the best of both worlds because she's a literal ranged stealth assassin who will kill you in 2-3 autos or she beats you to death if you're a tank or bruiser with constant uncounterable damage and Press the Attack, the most disgustingly biased ADC keystone Riot could have come up with. Can she be bullied in lane by a Caitlyn or MF? Sure, every fucking ADC can. Does she come online with two items and get godly lategame status for free? Also yes. There's nothing interactive or fair or outplay-able about Vayne's kit, which is as archaic as it is poorly designed. She'll never get meaningful changes or nerfs, however, because she has a fancy new PROJECT skin out right now and (not all, but most) of her playerbase is spoiled rotten, like Lee's and Riven's. The whole concept of a 'duelist' ADC like Vayne is so antithetical and broken in comparison to her class because it throws away the supposed weaknesses of a marksman, who needs protection from their team and is generally immobile/has no defensive options.

Before some mouthbreather comes on the thread saying 'hur dur you probably just lost to a Vayne salty bronze scrub', yes, in fact, I did lose to a Vayne recently. Jhin and I kept her down in lane and got first tower and roamed, helping mid kill Vel'Koz several times with our combined ult map pressure. She was something like 1/5 at one point, and ended the game with 20/12 killing a full health/armor Tahm in three autos or less. It's disgusting, and every time I play against a Vayne (often, because of the skin craze and also because she's meta again with these busted ADC runes), I want to bang my fucking head into a wall. I'm fucking sick of Twitch/Xayah/Vayne/Trist running around doing burst per second and being impossible to catch and kill. This meta sucks and I hope Riot knows that the playerbase has been unhappy for a long time.
