VS Riven, dont give up!

The other day we played against a championship skin Riven that got fed top, after that she roamed to our mid and bot lanes decimating anyone in her way, with a 13-0 in under 18 minutes of the game we stood at the brink of defeat. Our morale was down, we didnt know what to do, but as a jg carry Diana i knew i can carry, i told my team to listen to my strategy, if so we can comeback and win.

I told my team to stay under turrets as a group and wait for an opening to pick off Riven's teammates. If we can pick off her teammates we can actually even out our strength with Riven, at first i faced opposition-the team was fighting eachother, and suddenly we see Riven pushing bot with item 2140 and item 3026 . we were so scared but i kept pushing our team to stay together and focus on another lane to pick off her teammates to catch up, and they listened, firstly we fended against Riven under our turret, when she left we stormed mid and we managed to kill their Caitlyn and Lux, this pushed Riven back and we were able to push our lanes, this was enough morale for the team to continue listening to me and we eventually won.

What we learned from this game is to never give up, to work as a team. Riven, or any strong champ that gets fed has similar rules your losing team can use to counter:

  1. dont fight fed champs, avoid them, run.
  2. defend against fed champs under turrets only if you outnumber them.
  3. pick off the fed champs teammates and push where the fed champ isnt.
  4. capture objectives safely and away from fed champs
  5. most important get the team to work together, dont grief.

It's why i love playing League of Legends because you can work as a team and pull off great things.

Amazing scenario when it happens, but too bad so many players just keep flaming and spreading negativity instead of listening to any teammate's calls or working as a team. I've had games where I carried because my team listened to good calls when any of us made them and other games where we lost despite having a huge early lead because the team kept flaming and fighting over idiotic things like "ks." And then there's always that one (sometimes more) teammate who seems to never group and keeps solo-dying and flaming the team for "no help."

League is a team game, but not everyone understands that. Games are absolutely beautiful when all 5 players on the same team work together. Even if I end up losing those games, I feel satisfied and happy to have done my best along with my team.

I have yet to find a won game with Diana jungle and Caitlyn , Lux + a fed Riven on the enemy team in your match history. The only game close to that was http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1940530082/200531194?tab=overview and you probably just won that because the enemy Yi was afk. Lel get caught ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Then someone link me the match history of that game? The account I linked plays frequently enough to be a main and if it was a smurf it probably wouldnt be Bronze. No h8 m8 but still.

If Riven has 13 kills she can just ult, E, Flash, W, Q, AA, Q, AA, Q, AA, R and penta kill your team under turret.

I'm serious, I fought against a Riven just recently (she wasn't nearly that fed), and her W alone does over 400 damage around 20 minutes in with her ultimate steroid active.

The Riven must not have been good if she loses a lead like that.

she was good... she decimated everyone that stood in her way, what we did was run away from her and focus on her team, this led her away from pushing turrets and chasing us instead.
