Finally I got Platinum... (my experience of the first game in platinum)

After few unsuccessful attempts I got Plat again. CHEERS... and then I instantly lost. My top laner did less than 2k damage.... MY SUPPOSEDLY PLATINUM TEAM. Honestly the whole game felt like I was demoted to silver rather than promoted to Platinum as I, support did most damage in the team with 39 cs in total (had to farm as my team mates spend half their time being dead).

Top lane: Gold 4 vs PLat 4, Jungle: Gold 4 vs Plat 4, Mid: Diamond 4 vs Plat 4 Bot: Gold 4/Plat 4 vs Gold 1/Plat 4

After the game i checked my top laner: 1.9K damage and he was gold 4 vs plat 4.
Mid lane was Diamond 4 (6k damage) vs Plat 4 (13k damage)

So I am writing my experience and I still don't understand what kind of match making that is where Gold4 are mixed with Plat 4 and Diamond 4.

PS. note to RIOT w/e reads it: how do you expect to keep cool in these circumstances and not to flame when you expect team mates to be of similar skill level, yet they are a whole or 2 leagues below ?
