At this point it's easier to first time champions in ranked, since at least I don't have to fight diamonds.

true bro....its harder to learn new champions in normals than in ranked. As i also get diamonds in my normal games while being low gold.

Normals MMR doesn't interact with Ranked.

Someone can have challenger MMR in ranked but never play normals so has like Iron MMR in norms.

MMR for ranked and normals is different. If you never play normals it's unavoidably going to have some weirdness in matchups.

There is a HUGE difference between “weird matchups” and going against top 50 players. Imagine if that was a new player. Imagine how hard, that borderline pro player fucked him.
