Pykes solid as a champ. Theres going to be a lot of folks doing god dam awfull on him. He can run support role just fine and is not in need of buffs thou knowing the player base of lol I expect that they will happen.

First of all, you don't know that they know less about how to play Pyke than the enemy knows about how to play against him. As you said he's a new champion. both the summoner and his opponents are handicapped by that same fact.
Secondly, you don't get a say in your teammate's picks.
